Chinese Shandong Industry Actors, South Korea Explores Cooperation with HIMKI

Jakarta, May 16, 2025/Indonesia Media – The Shandong Xinzhanying International Business Co. China and South Korean industry is exploring cooperation with HIMKI. The delegation amounted to 12 people. Nine delegates from China and three from Korea. From the Indonesian Furniture and Crafts Industry Association (HIMKI) represented by Bambang Wijaya, Luqi Hermawanti, Fithri Abdullah and Maulana. The meeting place was held at Grandome, Pasar Minggu.
In his presentation, they stressed that the purpose of this visit was to broaden insight and strengthen business relations with partners in Indonesia, especially in the industrial sector related to polyurethane foam and its derivative products. “They hope to make direct observations of the activity,” Bambang Wijaya said as quoted from the HIMKI press release.
This meeting was facilitated by PT Nusaraya Business Services which is a liaison agency (Liaison Officer/LO) which focuses on various fields such as business, health, and relations between institutions, as well as play a role in facilitating communication and cooperation between various institutions in China and Indonesia.
Shandong Xinzhanying International Business Co, is an international trading company based in Shandong Province, China, this company is engaged in exports and imports of industrial chemicals, including products such as TDI (Toluene Diisocyanate) and Polyol, which are the main raw materials in the production of polyurethane foam.
On this occasion, Bambang and Luqi explained about HIMKI which is an organization that accommodates business people in the furniture and craft industry sector in Indonesia. HIMKI plays an important role in encouraging the growth and development of national industries, both in the domestic and international markets. This organization is also a strategic partner of the government in increasing the competitiveness of Indonesian furniture and handicraft products as well as expanding access to the export market through various training programs, promotions, and advocacy of industrial policies.
