Director Manish Gupta, who has been booked by Versova police for allegedly attacking his driver, has denied all the allegations and noted that these are all “false accusations”.

Speaking to ANI, Manish said, “Ye bilkul hi jhutha aarop hai (This is a false accusation)… a hundred per cent false accusation. There was no fight between that driver and me, Rajebul Lashkar. Usne police mein jaaake jhuthi statement di hai (He went to the police and gave a false statement). And on that basis, he filed an FIR. He did this to put my reputation at risk. So that I come under pressure and he can extort more money from me.”

He also opened up on the accusation that he has not paid salary to his driver’s timely, “This accusation is 100% false. I will show you my bank statement for the past 3 years. You will see that every month, I have paid him his entire salary on time. So, the first sentence in the FIR is false that I never paid him salary on time, that’s why he fought with me. His first sentence is false. The first false sentence in his statement, in the FIR, is proof that his entire allegation is false. It is proof that he is lying. You can see my bank statement. …There is a detail of his salary every month for the past 3 years.”

Manish also shared that he has given his driver regular salary, so there was no argument or fight between them. “As I said, he has received his salary on time every month for the past 3 years. You can see my bank statement. The driver’s name, amount, and date are clearly shown in this. He has received his salary on time every month for the past 3 years. On top of that, he has been given an advance. I have given him more advance than salary many times. The person who has given him a salary on time every month for the past 3 years, he (driver) has given a statement to file an FIR that he has never paid his salary on time. That’s why he has fought with me. This is a complete lie. When this man starts his statement with a false sentence, you can understand that the whole statement is a lie. He has a malafide intention. Uska motive hai paise aethna..This is an extortion racket and nothing else. So he made this salary just a topic. He wanted to make a topic and show that there was a fight. That’s why he has raised this issue of salary. “

The director also shared that he has been contributing to the police investigation. “I have submitted my statement to the police. I will show you a copy of the statement. I have given a statement. They stamped it, signed it and gave me an acknowledgement. And in the statement, I said everything… I told them that this man has given you a false statement. And on the basis of a false statement, he has filed an FIR. That is, it is 100% a lie.”

“There will be no compromise at all. The trend of extortion racket is very dangerous for our country, and especially for Bollywood personalities. Because we are a soft target, we have to stop these extortionists…So we are taking legal action. And we are initiating criminal proceedings against this man…Also, I want to add that he has a criminal background,” he added.

Gupta has been bked under sections 118 (2), 115 (2) and 352 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

While Bravoholics are used to plenty of drama, OMG moments and surprises courtesy of their favorite programs and reality stars, even the most loyal fans were surprised by all of the recent casting announcements thrown their way in such a short amount of time.

It all began on Thursday, June 5, when Paige DeSorbo announced her exit from Summer House after seven years on the show.

In the days that followed, The Real Housewives of Potomac and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills made headlines for their cast changes.

And just when Bravo fans felt rested and recharged, on Monday, June 9, The Real Housewives of New York City star Brynn Whitfield had some news of her own to share.

“After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to walk away from reality TV. For now,” Brynn, 39, wrote via her Instagram Story. “To every person who gave me a chance, cheered me on, and afforded me love and grace — thank you.”

“I have a little life update for you: I’ve made the decision not to return to Summer House,” the “Giggly Squad” podcast cohost shared via her Instagram Stories. “Being a part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable. You’ve seen me grow up over these last seven summers. I’ll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.”

Us Weekly exclusively confirmed on Friday, June 6, that the fashion designer — who starred in The Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo from September 2008 to April 2013 — is joining season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“I am beyond excited to be returning home to Bravo to join the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!” Rachel, 53, told Us in a statement. “I’ve been living my best, new life and it felt like the perfect time to come back to TV and share it all with you. Here we go … RZ 2.0!”

The news was met with excitement from some of her soon-to-be fellow costars, including Bozoma Saint John and Sutton Stracke.

After appearing in one season of Summer HouseLexi, 27, announced she would not be returning to the Bravo show.

“Well … that wasn’t the summer I signed up for but it definitely taught me a lot,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on Friday. “I stood up for women and for what’s right, even when it wasn’t easy and I’d do that again in a heartbeat. I’m leaving Summer House with no regrets (well … maybe one.) I’m proud of the way I handled myself, proud of what I walked away from and even prouder of what I’m walking toward. Big things are coming! Stay tuned!”

Monique Samuels

The former Real Housewives of Potomac star — who exited the reality show in 2020 after a feud with costar Candiace Dillard Bassett — is returning for Season 10, People reported on Sunday, June 8.

Although Monique, 41, has not publicly commented on the casting rumorsshe was spotted filming at the DC World Pride Parade with her (assumed) fellow costars, including Ashley Darby and Stacey Rusch.

As casting continues for a future season of The Real Housewives of New York City, one controversial cast member announced on Monday that she was leaving the show.

Story: A school teacher (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and his ex-wife (Karen Gillan), reunite under mysterious circumstances. Warner Bros. Discovery is dividing its assets into two separate publicly traded companies, the media conglomerate announced Monday.

The move will put the company’s iconic movie studio, prestige TV operation, HBO and HBO Max and DC Studios into a single entity known as Streaming & Studios. Cable channels CNN, TNT, Discovery and over-the-air networks internationally will operate under the banner of Global Networks.

The split is aimed at attracting investors in the company’s growing streaming business without exposure to the mature traditional TV business, which is in decline. The transaction is expected to be done by mid-2026.

“By operating as two distinct and optimized companies in the future, we are empowering these iconic brands with the sharper focus and strategic flexibility they need to compete most effectively in today’s evolving media landscape,” Warner Bros. Discovery Chief Executive David Zaslav said in a statement.

Zaslav will head Streaming & Studios. Gunnar Wiedenfels, chief financial officer of Warner Bros. Discovery, will serve as president and CEO of Global Networks. Both will continue in their present roles at WBD until the separation.

Zaslav has hinted at the split since Comcast announced it was putting MSNBC, CNBC, the Golf Channel, USA Network and other outlets into a new company called Versant, separating the mature businesses from the rest of the company as it focuses on streaming.

Judge Rinder star Rob Rinder has opened up about his close relationship with BBC Radio 2 presenter and Celebrity Gogglebox star Rylan Clark, and the impact it has had on his life

Rob Rinder has revealed that people often feel a “sense of disappointment” when they meet him in public without Rylan Clark by his side.

The 47-year-old has formed a tight-knit friendship with fellow telly presenter Rylan over the past few years. Their three-part series Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour was broadcast in May 2024.

The BAFTA TV Award-winning show saw an emotional Rylan discussing his divorce from ex-husband Dan Neal. The BBC Radio 2 star has since described his journey around Italy with Rob as being “like therapy”, confessing he “wasn’t fully over” the break up.

There have been whispers about a potential romance between the two, but Rylan recently clarified that they are “just friends”. This came as he paid a heartfelt tribute to Judge Rinder star Rob on his birthday, expressing that he “loves him dearly”.

Now, during a fresh chat between the duo on Radio 2, Rob disclosed that fans are often let down when he attends events without former X Factor star Rylan. He shared this insight while calling into Rylan’s Saturday afternoon programme.

Rob said: “I keep walking up to people and they know, obviously, that we’re friends, but you can feel the slight sense of disappointment that they’re like, ‘Oh where’s Rylan?’ As if I’m the warm-up act. I’m like the rubbish warm-up act that no one shows up for.”

Rylan, aged 36, responded: “But Rob, that’s what I get. Everyone goes, ‘Oh, where’s Rob? Where’s Rob?’”.

Before their Italian tour together, both Rob and Rylan experienced painful separations. The programme saw them opening up about their experiences as they bonded over a drink.

After scooping a BAFTA, Rylan opened up about his personal life, saying: “For me, the show, it happened at a really weird time for me like I still wasn’t fully over sort of the breakdown of my marriage and was flung with the judge. It was the best therapy I needed, put it that way.”

Rylan continued: “I think the journey, and I hate that word in telly but it’s so true, when you watch our series, that journey from when we meet to sort of how raw, especially I was at that time.”

Meanwhile, Rob, who celebrated his wedding to former spouse Seth Cummings in 2013 with none other than Benedict Cumberbatch leading the ceremony, later parted ways with his partner in 2018, with sources describing the split as “very sad”.

Launching into TV fame with Judge Rinder in 2014, Rob has since danced his way onto shows like Strictly Come Dancing, enjoyed a spot on Celebrity Gogglebox, and popped up on Good Morning Britain.

Keeping his legal wits sharp, he also serves as a junior counsel at London’s prestigious 2 Hare Court. Meanwhile, Rylan first came into the limelight during 2012’s X Factor run.

HOUSEFull 5 is the story of a murder in a cruise. United Kingdom’s seventh richest person, Ranjeet Dobriyal (Ranjeet) is all set to celebrate his 100th birthday in his luxurious ship. The head honchos of his company – CFO Maya (Chitrangda Singh), COO Bedi (Dino Morea), CMO Shiraz (Shreyas Talpade) and CEO and Ranjeet’s son Dev (Fardeen Khan) – are in attendance, along with Captain Sameer (Nikitin Dheer), cruise officer Batuk Patel (Johny Lever) and Aakhri Pasta (Chunky Panday). Suddenly, Ranjeet passes away. The lawyer, Lucy (Soundarya Sharma), arrives and reads the will of Ranjeet. As per the will, Ranjeet has bequeathed all his wealth to his son from his first wife Shakuntala Devi (Archana Puran Singh), Jolly. Jolly is all set to arrive on the ship the next day. To the horrors of Dev and the rest of the team, three people arrive, all claiming to be Jolly – Jalabuddin aka Jolly (Riteish Deshmukh), Jalbhushan aka jolly (Abhishek A Bachchan) and Julius aka Jolly (Akshay Kumar). They are joined by their respective spouses, Zara (Sonam Bajwa), Sashikala (Jacqueline Fernandez) and Kanchi (Nargis Fakhri). Dev decides to conduct a DNA test to find out who the real Jolly is. At night, all of them party. They consume a drink mixed with a mysterious powder and as a result, they forget what happened at night. At the same time, Dr Aman Joshi (Akashdeep Sabir) is murdered. All clues indicate that the murder is committed by one of the three Jolly’s. From the UK mainland, two cops, Bhidu (Sanjay Dutt) and Baba (Jackie Shroff), arrive to investigate. What happens next forms the rest of the film.

Housefull 5 Movie Story Review:
Sajid Nadiadwala’s story has all the trappings of a blockbuster. Sajid Nadiadwala, Farhad Samji and Tarun Mansukhani’s screenplay has a few rough edges but overall, it works. Kudos should go to the writers as there are so many characters and motives. Yet, they have managed to flesh them ably. Farhad Samji and Tarun Mansukhani’s dialogues are a highlight. A few one-liners are below the belt and even slightly racist. But the frontbenchers and those who don’t mind such humour will have no complaints.

Tarun Mansukhani’s direction is supreme. His biggest achievement is that he has retained the essence of the HOUSEFULL franchise, though he comes from a different school of filmmaking. He has also succeeded in keeping the interest levels high from start to finish. Moreover, it’s unpredictable. The identity of the killer in both versions will shock viewers.

On the flipside, after a rocking first half, the interest level drops post-intermission. The jokes of the cops don’t land properly. Certain scenes had no relevance to the overall plot and it made no sense to have them in the film. Also, the use of ChatGPT type stills for the very final scene could have been avoided.

HOUSEFULL 5 begins on a bloody note and it gives an impression that one has come to see a slasher film. The scene that follows sets the base. The use of a medley of the old HOUSEFULL songs will put a smile on the face of the viewers. The introduction of Jolly’s is superb and also the track of the bird, Gucci. But the real fun begins when the protagonists wake up with no memory of the last night. The scene of Jalabuddin and Kanchi especially will bring the house down. Even the intermission point is too funny. Post-interval, the entry of Dagdu Hulgund (Nana Patekar) is massy. The ending is full of madness.

Housefull 5 Movie Review Performances:
Akshay Kumar, as expected, kills it with his humour and badass performance. Riteish Deshmukh comes next and is very entertaining. Abhishek A Bachchan plays a character that has quirk. Though he is fine, he gets overshadowed by the rest of the cast. Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma and Chitrangda Singh are entertaining and add to the glamour quotient. Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff are lovely but are let down by the writing. Nana Patekar has a late entry. Yet, he leaves a mark. Fardeen Khan and Dino Morea lend able support. Shreyas Talpade is sadly wasted. Chunky Pandey, Ranjeet and Johny Lever are funny while Nikitin Dheer and Akashdeep Sabir are okay.

Housefull 5 movie music and other technical aspects:
Songs are well woven into the narrative. 'Laal Pari' is catchy while 'Dil In AL and 'Qayamat' are foot-tapping. ‘The Phoogdi Dance’ is based on an interesting idea but it doesn’t come out as intended. Julis Packiam’s background score is exhilarating.

Manikandan Veleyham's Cinematography is Cinematic. Parvez shaikh's action is appropriate. Rohit Chaturvedi and sanam ratan's costums are very glamourous. Rajat Poddarr, Rajnish Hedao and Iain Andrews' Production Design is Grand. do it create ltd and ny vfxwala's vfx is satisfactory. Rameshwar s bhagat's editing could have been slicker in the second half.

Housefull 5 Movie Review Conclusion:
On the whole, HOUSEFULL 5 is a paisa-vasool killer comedy that works due to the performances of the lead cast, subject, humour quotient, unpredictable climax, franchise value and unabashed madness. If you are in the mood for mindless fun, this one hits the sweet spot.

Sonam Kapoor is one of the most outspoken actresses we have in Bollywood. She has never hesitated to speak her mind, and she is loved by many for this quality. Well, there was a time when the Aisha star, without any hesitation, talked about how she doesn’t think that Shah Rukh Khan wanted to work with her. Anil Kapoor’s daughter also confessed to reaching out to him for the same, but that did not work.

This 2016 interview never gets old. Talking to Filmfare, Sonam Kapoor was questioned about not working with Shah Rukh Khan. To this, the actress casually replied that she doesn’t think King Khan wants to work with her. “There have been so many opportunities… I wanted to work with him and reached out to him as well, but I never got the opportunity. I guess it will happen whenever he feels like working with me.”

There was yet another Bollywood Hungama interview, where a fan had asked her about why she had not worked with SRK in a film yet. The Kapoor lad replied, saying that she hasn’t been offered even a single movie with him.

Adding on to it, she said, “No body from Shah Rukh Khan’s space has ever offered her a film. Maybe I’m not the kind of actor he wants to work with.”

A salmonella outbreak linked to a large egg recall has made dozens of people sick in seven states in the West and Midwest, federal health officials said Saturday.

The August Egg Company recalled about 1.7 million brown organic and brown cage-free egg varieties distributed to grocery stores between February and May because of the potential for salmonella, according to a posted announcement Friday on the Food and Drug Administration’s website.

At least 79 people in seven states have gotten a strain of salmonella that was linked to the eggs, and 21 people have been hospitalized. the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

The recall covers Arizona, California, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Washington and Wyoming. A list of brands and plant codes or Julian dates can be found on the FDA and CDC websites.

Symptoms of salmonella poisoning include diarrhea, fever, severe vomiting, dehydration and stomach cramps. Most people who get sick recover within a week.

Infections can be severe in young children, older adults and people with weakened immune systems, who may require hospitalization.

The CDC advises people to throw away recalled eggs or return them to the store where they were purchased. Consumers should also wash and disinfect any surfaces that came in contact with the eggs.
